Many divers come to Belize to dive the Great Blue Hole. This challenging dive is recommended for those with advanced certification as it’s an extremely deep and technical dive. Belize Dive Haven Resort is less than a 30-minute boat ride from the Great Blue Hole and we have our own boats that transport guests to the site that wish to dive this world-renowned site.
For guests that prefer to start with an easier dive, there are a number of sites that beginners and experienced divers alike can enjoy. The Half Moon Caye Wall and Elbow are two favorite sites for divers of all levels and both are easily accessible from Belize Dive Haven Resort.
Belize Dive Haven Resort also has the largest pool in the hemisphere and a PADI instructor available for beginners that want a refresher course or some extra practice before heading to the open water.
Don’t want to scuba dive? Snorkeling is a popular activity at Belize Dive Haven Resort. Just offshore, you can explore the Belize Barrier Reef or take a short boat ride to some breathtaking sites around Turneffe Atoll. |

Belize Dive Haven Resort is located in the pristine Turneffe Atoll, just 30 kilometres offshore from Belize City. As part of the Belize Barrier Reef, the Atoll consists of creeks, lagoons, mangrove islands and cays and is home to over 500 species of fish, 65 different species of stony corals as well as birds, turtles, manatees and dolphins.
