Getting Here

On arrival day, we’ll meet you at Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport and transport you and your luggage to the resort on Turneffe Atoll. From the airport, we make a quick stop at the marina, where you can freshen up before the approximately two-hour boat ride to the resort. Please note that there are no bathroom facilities on the boat.

Guests can also travel to our resort on a chartered plane from the Belize City airport! We have our very own 2,000 foot runway where planes can land to drop off our guests! There are two airlines that offer this service – Tropic Air and Maya Airlines – both of which can be booked in advance of arriving in Belize!

Please note, unlike our complimentary boat transportation, the chartered flight fees are not included in your resort booking!

About Belize

The Belize Dollar is used for currency, but US dollars are also accepted throughout the country. While it fluctuates, the current exchange rate has 1 Belize Dollar equal to $0.50 US (or about $0.65 CAD). It’s important to note that there is a departure tax in Belize of $35 that can only be paid in US dollars.

If you’re from the European Union, Caribbean, US, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Iceland, Mexico, Norway, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia, Uruguay or from a Commonwealth country, you do not need a visa to enter Belize. If you’re unsure if you require a visa to enter, always check with your local Belizean or British consulate.

It’s advisable to purchase travel, health and/or dive insurance for a Belize scuba diving trip. It’s important to protect your dive investment and your health, so be sure to purchase the right insurance for your needs.
