Belize Dive Haven Resort is located on Turneffe Atoll, a peaceful and secluded area 30 miles from the mainland. Its remote location makes it an ideal spot for scuba diving—but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do at the resort after a day of diving.
Local Cuisine
Belize Dive Haven Resort employs local chefs who take advantage of the fresh ingredients surrounding the resort. After a day of diving, you can come back and enjoy a gourmet dinner including recently caught fish and papaya grown right at the resort.
Fishing
You don’t have to go far to reach some of the best fishing on the atoll. Our guests have had success catching bonefish, permit, and tarpon right off the atoll. More experienced anglers might want to explore the nearby mangrove islands, creeks and streams for additional game fish.
Largest Pool in the Hemisphere
Belize Dive Haven is home to the largest pool in the hemisphere. There are also multiple hot tubs at the resort where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings after a full day of diving.
Meteor Showers
The location of Belize Dive Haven Resort makes it an ideal place to view meteor showers throughout the year. The Eta Aquarids are associated with Halley’s Comet and can be viewed from the resort until the end of May. You can expect to see anywhere between 20 and 60 meters per hour. The Geminids meteor shower occurs during the first few weeks of December, where you can expect to see between 100 and 120 meteors per hour.
Belize Dive Haven Resort is located on 47 acres of beautiful, private land within the Turneffe Atoll. Nestled between palm trees and the Caribbean Sea, it provides the perfect diving getaway for couples, individuals, or groups who are looking to experience the best diving Belize has to offer.
