While people in the northern hemisphere associate autumn with cold weather, in Belize, September and October mark the beginning of the popular fall diving season! If you’re planning a trip in the next few months to escape the cold, book a spot in one of our scheduled pre-opening trips.
Fall Diving in Belize
The great thing about diving in Belize is that the water temperature is stable all year. If you come diving between August and October, you can expect the water to reach up to 29°C and even during the colder months—January and February—the water temperature rarely goes below 26°C. The warm water makes Belize an ideal diving location twelve months of the year.
Booking Your Stay
Belize Dive Haven is currently offering pre-opening bookings for dive-centred vacations. We have weeklong packages (Saturday to Saturday) running through December 2024 for one low price.
Each package includes:
- Private tender transportation to and from the Belize mainland to the resort on Turneffe Atoll.
- Large, air-conditioned, balcony room with complimentary WiFi and water view.
- 3 set meals per day, prepared by our resort chef using seasonal and local ingredients.
- 2 dives per day to various diving locations around Turneffe Atoll.
If you’re interested in diving The Great Blue Hole, please let us know at booking as there is an additional fee for this dive. It’s also important to note that you must have your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification to dive The Great Blue Hole. - Access to our 260-foot swimming pool
