Only 15 minutes away from Belize Dive Haven, the Elbow is a unique diving location because it’s an area where two currents meet, producing an abundance of marine life. Large groups of eagle rays frequent the area in addition to dense schools of fish—making it the perfect place to take some amazing photos. The wall exploration is one of the best in Belize and allows for an up-close and personal view of some of the largest Gorgonian fan corals.

Marine life you can expect to see during a dive:

Horse-Eye Jacks, Splendid Toad Fish, Nurse Sharks, Groupers, Moray Eels, Lobsters, Loggerhead Turtles, Green Turtles, Hawksbill Turtles, Spotted Drums, Pederson Shrimps, Cleaner Shrimps, Arrowhead Crabs, Channel Crabs, Southern Sting Rays, Squid, French Angelfish

Gorgonians, Anemones, Tube Sponges, Barrel Sponges, Encrusting Sponges, Vase Sponges, Brain Coral, Staghorn, Fanworms, Feather dusters, Christmas Tree Worms, Hydroids, Tunicates, Zoanthids, Corallimorphs, Spaghetti Worms
